Oh no Steph - he is wanting a real chicken. We've been talking about getting some and he is desperate now to have his own chicken and his own eggs! And I think if it were dinner, he'd definitely choose a hotdog, "because they're quick". (That's what he always says!)
Are you sure he didn't think you were talking about dinner (i.e. a hot dog)?
